However, forex traders noted that the rupee’s rise was slightly limited due to an increase in global crude oil prices.

In the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee opened at 90.60 against the dollar and traded within a range of 90.60 to 90.71 during the session. It eventually settled at 90.67, gaining 5 paise compared to the previous day’s closing level.
