The captain of Karnataka, Kicha Sudeep lifted the coveted trophy. Karnataka has won the CCL after 12 years having won it back in 2014. With 3 titles, they are only behind Telugu Warriors (4 titles) in the list of most successful teams in CCL. Chennai Rhinos (2 titles), Punjab De Sher and Bengal Tigers have won the title already.
The CCL organisers were in praise of Coimbatore for the organisational support and the sportive crowd. Coimbatore played host for the first time and shall hopefully be a part of future editions of CCL. The Coimbatore audience had a wonderful experience as they got to see some great cinema stars in a cricket pitch and were also treated to some good quality cricket contests.
