The Women Empowerment Cell of Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET) organized a grooming session titled “Express to Empower” on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the college seminar hall.
The session was conducted by Sumantha Wong, Founder of Sierra Unisex Saloon. The program focused on professional grooming, confidence building, and interview readiness, helping students prepare for professional environments.
During the session, the speaker emphasized the importance of personal presentation, professional etiquette, body language, and effective communication as key elements for career success. She also shared personal experiences and real-life insights to make the session engaging and impactful.
Women students were clearly guided on grooming standards, interview appearance, and building confidence in professional settings. The session helped participants understand how proper grooming plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression.
