Coimbatore Child Amalya Sets World Record in Thirukkural Recitation
Two-year-old Amalya from Coimbatore earned recognition in Talent World Records for reciting 10 Thirukkural verses in 1 minute and 16 seconds, becoming the youngest participant in the record attempt.
A young child from Coimbatore has achieved an extraordinary milestone by setting a world record in Thirukkural recitation.
Amalya, aged just 2 years and 8 months, has been recognized by Talent World Records for her remarkable ability to recite 10 Thirukkural verses in just 1 minute and 16 seconds.
Amalya participated in a World Record Attempt for Thirukkural Recitation, becoming the youngest child to take part in the event. At such a tender age, she displayed exceptional memory skills, clear pronunciation, and impressive dedication while reciting verses from the classic Tamil literary work Thirukkural, written by the legendary poet Thiruvalluvar.
Her achievement was officially recognized and certified by Talent World Records on March 3, 2026, in India.
Family members and well-wishers expressed immense pride in Amalya’s accomplishment, which highlights the value of introducing children to Tamil culture, language, and literature from an early age.
