Six Naxalites Shot Dead in Chhattisgarh

At least six Naxalites were shot dead in an operation carried out by security forces in the Bijapur district over the past two days, according to official sources.
The encounter took place in forested areas of Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh, where security personnel launched a coordinated anti-Naxal operation following intelligence inputs. During the operation, security forces also recovered six firearms, including AK-47 rifles, from the encounter site.
Officials stated that the operation was conducted as part of intensified efforts to curb Naxalite activities in the region. Search operations are continuing in the surrounding areas to ensure there are no remaining threats.
