After winning the toss, Italy chose to bowl first. The West Indies batters struggled against disciplined Italian bowling but still managed to post 165 runs in 20 overs. Captain Shai Hope top-scored with 75 runs.

In reply, Italy were bowled out for 123 runs in 18 overs. Shamar Joseph claimed four wickets, while Matthew Forde took three wickets to seal a comfortable victory for the Caribbean side.

Shai Hope was named Player of the Match for his crucial innings.

With four wins from four matches, West Indies advanced to the Super 8 stage, where they will face India, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.
