AI Workshop at Study World College of Engineering

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Study World College of Engineering, Coimbatore successfully conducted a One-Day Workshop titled “Developing Industry-Ready AI and Data Science Skills”  on Thursday, 12 February 2026. The workshop was facilitated by Mr.K.Sankar from Kyureeus Edtech LLP, a Rezilyens Company.

Mr Sankar dwelt on the importance and popularity of Artifcial Intelligence and Data Science in the past few years and established the need to be both sound and adaptive in this highly competitive world of AI & DS. He also stressed the need for the students to be industry ready during their college days itself. With industrial perspective, he broadly explained the tools and concepts related to Modern Data Stack, Practical Machine Learning and Evaluation, Generative AI, Language Learning Models, Model Deployment etc. The workshop was highly interactive and provided practical exposure, helping students understand real-world applications and current industry expectations.

The II Year and III Year B.E. AI & DS students actively participated in the session and gained valuable insights into industry-relevant AI and Data Science skills. The students found the workshop very interesting and informative. They also mentioned that they understood the need to be industry ready and competitive. Dr.S.Syed Jamesha, Head, Department of AI & DS was in the forefront in making the workshop successful and he was ably supported by Mr.N.Pravin Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of AI & DS in coordination. 

The ideation and execution of this much needed and very valuable workshop was enunciated and supported by Dr.K.Geetha, Principal, Study World College of Engineering, Dr.P.Gomathi, CEO, Study World College of Engineering and Mr.N.N.Manoharan, AO, Study World College of Engineering under the auspices of Dr.Vidhya Vinod, Chairperson, Study World Group.
