The Inter State Youth Exchange Programme organized by MY Bharat under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports was inaugurated at KV Institute of Management and Information Studies, Coimbatore on March 9, 2026.

The Inter State Youth Exchange Programme (ISYEP) organized under the initiative of MY Bharat – Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, was inaugurated at KV Institute of Management and Information Studies, Kurumbapalayam, Coimbatore, on March 9, 2026.

The inaugural function began at 3:00 PM with a warm welcome address delivered by Dr. M. Vidhya, Principal of KV Institute of Management and Information Studies. In her address, she emphasized the importance of youth exchange programmes in promoting national integration, cultural understanding, and leadership among young people.

Delivering the keynote address, Shri K. Joel Prabhakar, District Youth Officer, MY Bharat – Coimbatore, explained the objectives of the Inter State Youth Exchange Programme. He stated that the initiative aims to strengthen unity in diversity by bringing together youth from different parts of the country and providing them opportunities to share knowledge, culture, and experiences.

The event also featured felicitation addresses by Dr. S. R. Madhan Shankar, Founder and CEO of Ashwinis Herbs and Foods and Director of Rashmivat Edutech Pvt. Ltd. He appreciated the initiative and encouraged young participants to actively engage in cultural exchange, leadership activities, and community development.

Another special address was delivered by Dr. R. Nandagopal, Immediate Former President of the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). He spoke about Coimbatore, often referred to as the “Manchester of South India,” highlighting its industrial strength, cultural diversity, and educational significance.

The programme was conducted in the presence of Shri A. Rajendran, District Advisory Committee Member, along with MY Bharat representatives including Shri T. Dinesh Kumar (NYV, MY Bharat Coimbatore), Shri A. Jeswin Joshwa (NYV, MY Bharat Coimbatore), Shri Sabari (NYV, MY Bharat Coimbatore), and Shri Dharanitharan (NYV, MY Bharat Coimbatore).

The Inter State Youth Exchange Programme will be conducted from March 9 to March 13, 2026, bringing together participants from various states. The programme includes cultural interactions, discussions, and collaborative activities aimed at strengthening national unity and youth empowerment.

The inaugural event concluded with great enthusiasm and anticipation for the upcoming sessions and cultural exchanges planned during the five-day programme.
