CBI Summons Former Minister Senthil Balaji in Karur Rally Tragedy Case
The CBI has summoned former minister Senthil Balaji in connection with the Karur campaign rally incident where 41 people lost their lives.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently probing the tragic incident that occurred during a campaign rally addressed by actor-politician Vijay in Karur, where 41 people lost their lives.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the CBI has issued a summons to former Tamil Nadu minister Senthil Balaji in connection with the case.
According to reports, Senthil Balaji has been asked to appear before the CBI for questioning regarding the incident. He is expected to appear before the agency on March 17.
The investigation is focused on identifying the circumstances that led to the tragic incident and determining any lapses in planning, crowd management, or safety arrangements during the event.
Authorities continue to gather evidence and statements as the probe into the Karur rally tragedy progresses.
