JCI Coimbatore Indcity conducts 2 day residential training programme

JCI Coimbatore Indcity organised two day residential training seminar COTS (Chapter Officer Training Seminar) on February 07 2026 and February 08 2026 at Kailasha Green Home, Onapalayam, Coimbatore. The event was marked with great learning, energy, and togetherness and was well facilitated by a group of leaders, trainers and mentors. This all encompassing and residential COTS conducted for the first time at LO level strengthened the ideology, winning mindset and coordination of the chapter officers.
The training seminar was led by JFM Ananda Krishnan, Past President of JCI Coimbatore Indcity. His dedication to the cause of the programme and his detailed preparation based on years of collective experience ensured that the training sessions were highly effective and impactful for all the participants. JCI Sen SM Palaniappan and JFS Ashok R Bhat both Past Presidents of JCI Coimbatore Indcity and JCI Zone XVII (comprising Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode and Nilgiris Districts) provided valuable mentoring sessions that added depth and clarity to the upcoming leadership journey of the participants. Jc Praveen Singh, Past President, JCI Coimbatore Indcity provided valuable support serving as the judge for "Learning By Play" session which involved obtaining role clarity through entertainment. Jc.Nithin Prakash and Jc.Harihara Sudhan began day 2 with a refreshing and energising yoga session. The event was attended and supported by senior members Jc.PP.Kanivalan, Jc.Jai Ganesh and Jc.Manivannan.
JCI Coimbatore Indcity members Jc Kalanithi and Jc Gowri ensured smooth coordination and execution of the entire program with support of Jc Varadarajan and Jc Manikandan. The entire programme was planned and delivered well by President Jc.Yuvaraja Sridharan. He mentioned that such a detailed COTS programme would definitely enrich and empower the chapter officers and help in bringing out their leadership skills in a better manner for carrying out impactful programmes. The participants found the experience refreshing and informative and looked forward to translate the learning into action during the year.
