In the 14th match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL), Gujarat Giants registered a convincing 45-run victory over UP Warriorz. With this win, Gujarat secured their third victory of the season and moved up to second place in the points table.
Chasing the target, UP Warriorz struggled against the disciplined bowling attack of the Gujarat Giants and failed to maintain the required run rate. They lost wickets at regular intervals and eventually fell short of the target.
This defeat marked UP Warriorz’s fourth loss of the tournament, pushing them down to fifth place in the standings, while Gujarat Giants strengthened their position in the race for the playoffs with this important win.
