India–Israel Move Closer to Free Trade Agreement After High-Level Talks

India and Israel are moving closer to finalizing a comprehensive free trade agreement following high-level discussions between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during Modi’s visit to Israel.
The two leaders held detailed talks covering trade, agriculture, energy and broader economic cooperation. Both sides emphasized strengthening commercial ties and expanding collaboration in key growth sectors.
Officials indicated that negotiations for a barrier-free trade agreement between the two countries are progressing rapidly and are expected to be concluded soon. The proposed agreement aims to enhance bilateral trade, promote investment, and deepen strategic and economic partnerships between India and Israel.
The development marks another important milestone in the steadily growing relationship between the two nations.
