CIET ALUMNI DAY REFLECTS THE SILVER JUBILEE LEGACY
CIET Alumni Meet 2026 reunited nearly 100 former students from 20 batches at Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology, celebrating the institution’s Silver Jubilee with speeches, cultural programs, and alumni interactions.
The Alumni Meet 2026 organised by Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET) held on Sunday, 25 January 2026 from 10 AM to 12 Noon at college auditorium brought together nearly 100 past students from 20 passed out batches for a vibrant and memorable reunion.
The event commenced with the welcome address delivered by Dr. K. Manikanda Subramanian, Principal, CIET. He warmly welcomed the alumni and highlighted the institution’s growth and achievements over the past 25 years.
In her key note address, Ms. C. Amritha Varshini, Treasurer, CIET Alumni Association, emphasized the importance of sustained alumni engagement and the lifelong bond with the institution.
Dr.N.R.Deepa, HoD - Department of Information Technology and an alumni herself proposed the Vote of Thanks.
The Alumni Day enabled the campus to gather a great mood as alumni reunited with their classmates and faculty members. The occasion was marked by reliving shared journeys and celebrating milestones.
The event also served as a meaningful platform for alumni to share their professional experiences, industry insights and life lessons.
Batch wise photo sessions added warmth and a sense of belonging, while the cultural programme performed by the students brought energy and joy to the gathering.
With the institution completing the silver Jubilee, the Alumni Meet reflected not only the golden memories but also precious legacy of the institution in transforming lives.
