Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and held discussions on strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
Sharing details about the meeting on his official X platform, Prime Minister Modi said he was pleased to meet the Sri Lankan President. He noted that both leaders discussed the progress in India-Sri Lanka relations during their meeting in New Delhi.
The two leaders also exchanged views on enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors, including healthcare, energy, and infrastructure.
Prime Minister Modi emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between India and Sri Lanka to further strengthen their partnership and promote mutual development.
