Trump Warns of 20 Times Stronger Attack on Iran Over Strait of Hormuz Threat

US President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran, stating that the United States would launch attacks 20 times stronger than previous strikes if Iran attempts to block oil transportation through the Strait of Hormuz.

The warning comes amid escalating tensions between Iran, the United States, and Israel in the Middle East.

Iran had earlier announced that it might close the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial maritime route that connects the Persian Gulf to the Arabian Sea. The strait is one of the world’s most important oil shipping routes.

Iran also warned that oil tankers attempting to pass through the route despite restrictions could be targeted and destroyed.

In response, Trump ordered the US Navy to provide protection and insurance coverage for ships traveling through the Persian Gulf, especially oil tankers carrying crude oil.

Despite these measures, concerns are rising globally about potential shortages of crude oil and natural gas, which could disrupt energy markets.

In a post shared on social media, Trump said that if Iran attempts to block oil transport in the Strait of Hormuz, the United States would respond with far more powerful military action.

He added that the attacks would target critical and vulnerable sites in Iran, potentially causing severe destruction.

Trump also stated that such an escalation could bring “death, fire, and fury” upon Iran, though he expressed hope that the situation would not reach that stage.
