Two pilots of the Indian Air Force (IAF) lost their lives after a Sukhoi-30 fighter jet crashed in Assam.
According to official sources from the Air Force, the fighter aircraft had taken off from an air force base in the state before it met with an accident and crashed to the ground.
The crash resulted in the deaths of the two pilots identified as Anuj and Purvesh Durgar. The aircraft was severely damaged after falling and breaking apart at the crash site.
Authorities have begun an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. Defence officials stated that further details will be released after a thorough inquiry into the incident.
