Training Camp for Anna University Football Team

A special Intensive Training Camp was held for the Anna University Men Football team from Saturday, 20 December 2025 to Monday, 22 December 2025 at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. A total of 22 football players participated in this camp to hone their skills and temparament ahead of the South Zone Inter University Men Football Championship to be held at Calicut from December 24 2025 to December 30 2025. 

A total of 22 football players from the constituent colleges of Anna University, Coimbatore were selected to participate in the Annual South Zone Inter University Men Football Championship, a prestigious competition of Association Indian Universities. The selection took place at Adhiyamaan Engineering College a fortnight earlier and the selected players took part in the camp which included six rigorous training sessions. The camp was spearheaded by Dr.D.Saravanamoorthy, Director of Physical Education, Anna University Regional Centre, Coimbatore and the coach of the team. Mr.S.Senthil Kumar, Director of Physical Education, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology and Manager of the team ensured fullest support and facilities for the training camp. 

The players found the training camp very useful and hoped to ensure a performance of high standards and thereby positive results in the highly competitive tournament. The coaches and players also thanked KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology for their support for the camp.
