TECHFEST 2026 at ACET ensures platform for innovation and competition

Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology(ACET) organised ACET TECH FEST 2026 its annual national level technical symposium in the campus on Friday, 27 February 2026. The symposium was inaugurated in the presence of Mr.A.Suthaneshwaran, Director, i Hub Robotics, Kochi and Mr.Ramesh Subburaj, CEO, Arohanam Technologies, Bengaluru as the special invitees. The inauguration was conducted under the leadership of Dr.R.Ravindran, Principal, ACET and Dr.K.Sivasankari, Vice Principal, ACET. Dr.S.Kapilan, CEO of Akshaya Group of Institutions guided the smooth conduct of the entire event.
ACET TECH FEST was pitched with the tag line "A Platform where innovation meets competition" and lived true to it offering 28 competitions in 9 streams of engineering. There were technical events related to Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS), Computer Science and Business Systems (CS & BS). An Ideathon focussed on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and a few non technical events were also organised for all the participants cut across disciplines.
More than 250 students from more than 25 engineering colleges in South India participated in this event. From the inauguration at 09.30 AM till the valediction at 05.30 PM, the campus was abuzz with activities. The competitive spirit, innovative minds and research aptitude of the young engineers was at display as they raced against time to present their technical expertise in a competitive atmosphere.
All the participants were presented with certificates while the winners were presented with cash prizes and special recognitions. A total of Rs.75000 was provided as prize money for various events. The prize distribution was done by the Principal, Vice Principal and Heads of Departments of the institution. The students from visiting institutions appreciated the flawless organisation of the symposium and thanked ACET for coordinating such a wonderful event. A wonderful team of organisers from ACET cordinated by Prof.S.Vinoth, Prof.K.Gomathi, Mr.R.Sivasarathi and Mr.Karventhan ensured the smooth conduct of the grand event.
